Ferdinand Brits, MD

Family Medicine

Ferdinand Brits, MD, is a Board Certified Family Physician of the American Board of Family Medicine. After growing up in South Africa and moving to Florida in the early 2000’s, Dr. Brits received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Chemistry at the University of Florida. He graduated from AUC School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the NYMC- Phelps Family Medicine Residency Program. Since completing his residency, he has worked in both urgent care and family medicine. Dr. Brits believes in comprehensive family care and evidence based medicine, and he looks forward to working with you as a team to explore your goals and to reach them.  His professional philosophies integrate wellness and fitness, with a strong focus on preventative medicine.

Outside of the office, Dr. Brits enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with family and friends, and running 5ks.
