Please note that our check-in process at the office has changed. Patients will now be asked to wait in their cars until their exam rooms are ready. The Car Waiting Room check-in process works as follows.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I didn’t receive a Luma pre-appointment text message or email?
Please login to your Patient Portal or Healow App and ensure your contact information is up to date, including your phone number and email. Without your updated information, we cannot communicate with you regarding appointments, patient advisories, and other important information. Be sure to check your phone signal, as poor signal could be the cause. In this case, please notify us in the office and we will work to accommodate you.
What if I do not know how to use the internet or a smart phone?
We can still help you! You may enter the office to check in. Please be aware that we have updated our check-in process and can only accommodate a limited number of patients at a time in our lobby. This safety protocol could delay your appointment, so please come arrive early to avoid this if you are unable to complete your pre-check in prior to arrival.
Why do I need to wait in my vehicle?
In order to maximize patient safety and observe proper social distancing guidelines, we have developed new procedures including the Car Waiting Room.
I feel like I have been waiting a long time in my car, what is going on?
Multiple factors can impact office visit times, including unexpected complexities of visits and multiple late patients prior to your visit. Please know if you have received a response upon texting “Arrived,” that you are in queue and we are working on preparing your exam room. We are monitoring wait times and will advise patients on anticipated wait times if your clinician is delayed.
