Review Your Visit
As part of our 4-part series on Navigating Open Enrollment, we’ve covered Step One: Finding Your Healthcare Provider, Step Two: Before Your Visit, and Step Three: The Day of Your Visit. Now, we’ll cover how to review your visit.
By now, you’ve successful enrolled in your insurance coverage, selected your Primary Care Provider, prepared for your visit, and completed your appointment… but wait, there’s more! Follow-up appointments, prescription pick-ups, and lab results are all common things that you may need to review after your appointment. Some offices, like ours, will use an interactive online tool like Patient Portal to help patients navigate their follow up, prescriptions, and more. Here you can find your visit summary, recommended patient education, and prescription refill requests, as well as the ability to message your clinician with any questions or concerns.
After your visit, it’s also helpful to give feedback on your appointment with your provider. Patient feedback is an important part of the healthcare experience, and most offices will ask patients about their appointment in order to improve their patient experience. To see what some of our patients think of us, you can visit our Testimonials page. Feeling confident about how to have the best healthcare appointment? You can Book An Appointment with us today!
