What is Family Medicine?
Family medicine, is comprehensive, continuing medical care provided to a family unit by a clinician. To be certified as a specialist in a family practice, a clinician must be trained in the following areas of medicine: pediatrics, internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and community and preventive medicine. To be certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), a clinician must complete a three-year family practice residency training program after medical school and pass a written examination administered by the American Board of Family Practice. This certification must be renewed every 7 years.
Scheduling An Appointment
Office visits are by appointment only. Please let the receptionist know the nature of your visit, so the appropriate amount of time is scheduled. If, for any reason, you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify the office 24 hours in advance.

* Our offices are closed Mondays and Tuesdays from 1pm to 2pm for weekly medical and staff meetings so we can stay abreast as a team on the ongoing changes in the health and insurance industry as well as to assist you in streamlining our processes.
New patients are requested to arrive 20 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment for verification of documents and insurance. Established patients are requested to arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment.
When you need to reach us after hours for an emergency, please call 407-352-9717 and the answering service will contact us immediately. We will see to it that you will always be cared for by a competent medical provider 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
